McLoughlin Middle School Recognized by Washington School Recognition Program for Student Growth

McLoughlin Middle School is proud to share that it has been honored through the 2025 Washington School Recognition Program for outstanding efforts in supporting student success during the 2023–2024 school year.

McLoughlin Middle School was recognized for Growth among students in one or more racial or ethnic groups.

This recognition is awarded by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), the State Board of Education (SBE), and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee (EOGOAC). Honorees are selected based on performance data from the Washington School Improvement Framework and must show measurable progress in student growth, closing opportunity gaps, or high achievement.

Each recognized school receives a banner to display as a symbol of its achievement and dedication to student success.

“This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and student-centered focus of our teachers, staff, and administrators,” said Superintendent Michelle Whitney. “We are incredibly proud of the progress these schools have made and the meaningful difference they are making in the lives of our students.”

The Pasco School District celebrates this achievement and thanks the entire McLoughlin Middle School community for its commitment to creating an inclusive, equitable, and supportive learning environment for all students.
